Abstract: The present invention relates to a high-strength and lightweight calendar holder manufactured from an advanced aluminium matrix composite comprising Aluminium 7068 alloy as the matrix material and Boron Carbide particles as the reinforcement phase. The composite is engineered to provide enhanced mechanical performance, including a Young’s modulus of approximately 75 GPa and a tensile strength of approximately 238 MPa, thereby ensuring superior rigidity, dimensional stability, and resistance to deformation during long-term use. The calendar holder includes a base plate, vertical support members, fastening slots, and optional engraved surfaces for displaying dates, notes, and promotional information. The incorporation of boron carbide significantly improves stiffness, wear resistance, and durability while maintaining low weight and corrosion resistance. The product is suitable for office desks, institutional use, commercial gifting, and premium stationery applications. The invention combines structural efficiency, aesthetic appearance, and sustainable material utilization to create a robust and long-lasting calendar holder.
