MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617093312 A) filed by Resonac Corporation on July 31, 2026, for Aluminum Alloy Forging Material, Aluminum Alloy Forged Product, And Method For Manufacturing Same.
Inventor includes Arayama Takuya.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: This aluminum alloy forging material has an alloy composition which contains Cu within a range of 0.25-0.55 mass%, Mg within a range of 0.85-1.25 mass%, Si within a range of 1.02-1.4 mass%, Mn within a range of 0.55-1.0 mass%, Fe within a range of 0.32-0.65 mass%, Zn within a range of 0.25 mass% or less, Cr within a range of 0.050-0.30 mass%, Ti within a range of 0.01-0.1 mass%, B within a range of 0.0010-0.030 mass%, and Zr within a range of 0.0010-0.050 mass%, and in which the ratio Fe/Mn of the Fe content with respect to the Mn content is 0.3-1.1, and the remaining portion is Al and unavoidable impurities. In a thermal analysis curve obtained by performing a differential thermal analysis (DSC) on the aluminum alloy forging material, exothermic peaks emerge within 200-300°C and within 400-500°C.
