Inventors include Palash Rajendra Kadam; and Dr. Parmeshwar P. Ritapure.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: Title of the invention: Aluminium–graphene composite for enhanced thermal conductivity and its preparation method thereof. The invention relates to an aluminium- graphene composite and a method for preparing the same. The composite comprises an aluminium matrix reinforced with graphene, wherein thermal conductivity is enhanced by controlled dispersion of graphene and densification through spark plasma sintering. A low-energy blending process is used to preserve graphene morphology, followed by compaction and sintering to obtain a dense composite. The composite may contain graphene in an amount of about 0 to 15 wt.%, with about 5 wt.% providing an optimum balance between dispersion, porosity reduction, and thermal conductivity enhancement. The composite is suitable for heat sinks and advanced thermal applications.
