Abstract: The present invention relates to process for preparation of biofriendly alkaline earth metal hybridized chitosan (SrO-CS) composite as bioaffinity layer for electrochemical biosensor applications. More particularly, present invention relates to process for preparation of Strontium oxide as alkaline earth metal hybridized chitosan (SrO-CS) composite materials by wet chemical approach. Further, Strontium oxide hybridized chitosan (SrO-CS) composite materials modified Carbon screen- printed electrode [CSPE] used to immobilize bioreceptors for a broad spectrum of target analyte detection. For biosensor applications, the created strontium oxide hybridized chitosan (SrO-CS) composite materials functions as a useful bio-affinity layer for biomolecule attachment.
