Abstract: A multimodal AI-driven augmented reality system for personalized fitness, rehabilitation and social connectivity of elderly users is disclosed. Medical imaging data of a user's musculoskeletal system is fused with live pose estimation data to generate a digital musculoskeletal twin storing joint-specific safety thresholds. An AR3 risk- aware engine, comprising a convolutional neural network and a long short-term memory network, classifies movements in real time and generates corrective feedback when a risk level is exceeded. Wearable physiological signals are used to adjust exercise difficulty and pace, and risk heatmaps are rendered on an augmented reality display. A MetaWorld social layer enables multiple elderly users to meet, communicate and exercise together in a shared virtual environment, while a clinician dashboard supports remote monitoring and tele-therapy. The system is modular and may run on a smartphone, smart glasses or a clinical workstation. Each risk score is compared with a predetermined value, and corrective instructions are presented in real time through augmented reality. The system provides safe, personalized and socially engaging exercise guidance for elderly users.
