MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109700 A) filed by Manav Rachna University on September 12, 2026, for Airflow Condition Monitoring And Autonomous Deposit Release System.
Inventors include Dr Vivek Sharma; and Dr. Bhim Singh.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed is an airflow condition monitoring and autonomous deposit release system comprising an air duct, a plurality of pivotable louver blades extending across an airflow passage, a common drive linkage, a rotary actuator and spring-return elements associated with an over-travel region beyond an ordinary open-flow position. The rotary actuator moves the louver blades through an ordinary angular operating range for airflow regulation. After the louver blades reach the open-flow position, further actuator movement displaces the common drive linkage into the over-travel region and loads the spring-return elements. Release of the loaded spring-return elements transfers return force through the common drive linkage and rapidly returns the louver blades toward the ordinary angular operating range, thereby dislodging deposits from leading-edge portions and regions adjacent to blade pivots. The same actuator-to-blade drive path consequently performs airflow regulation and deposit release through different portions of actuator travel.
