Abstract: TITLE: AIOT-ENABLED AUTONOMOUS TEXTILE EFFLUENT TREATMENT SYSTEM WITH INDIGENOUS BIOMATERIAL MEDIA APPLICANT: MEENAKSHI ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a zero-chemical autonomous textile effluent treatment and reuse system configured to treat textile dyeing and processing wastewater without the addition of external chemical coagulants, oxidants, or synthetic flocculants. The system comprises a multi-stage treatment architecture including a pre-filtration stage, a layered biomaterial media bed containing activated natural fibers, agro-residue biochar, and immobilized indigenous microbial bioflocculants, a bioflocculation reactor, a constructed phyto-bio wetland stage, and a biomass- derived polishing bed. An AIoT-based monitoring and control unit incorporating real-time sensors measures effluent parameters including color, COD, BOD, turbidity, pH, conductivity, flow, and pressure. An AI engine predicts pollutant load, estimates media saturation, and autonomously actuates regeneration and routing mechanisms. A reuse/discharge routing unit integrates zero-liquid discharge functionality through solar evaporation and salt recovery. The system enables chemical-free treatment and production of reuse-grade water with minimal human intervention.
