Abstract: ABSTRACT AI TECHNOLOGY BASED CYBERSECURITY THREAT DETECTION AUTONOMOUS AND CONNECTED VEHICLE USING IOT The proposed innovation introduces an AI-Based Cybersecurity Threat Detection System for Autonomous and Connected Vehicles Using IoT (AI-CTD-ACV) designed to improve the security of modern vehicles connected through Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The system combines IoT sensors, vehicle communication networks, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), real-time monitoring, threat detection, authentication, and security alerts into a unified vehicle cybersecurity framework. Unlike traditional vehicle security systems that mainly depend on fixed security rules, the proposed system continuously monitors vehicle devices, communication activities, network traffic, and connected services to identify unusual or suspicious behavior. The system collects information from vehicle sensors, Electronic Control Units (ECUs), communication devices, and external connected services. The collected information is analyzed using AI-based methods to identify abnormal activities and possible cybersecurity threats. When a threat is detected, the system generates a security alert and can initiate suitable protective actions. The proposed innovation helps improve vehicle data security, reduce unauthorized access, protect communication between connected devices, and support safer autonomous vehicle operation. The framework can be used in autonomous cars, connected vehicles, smart transportation systems, fleet management systems, and intelligent mobility platforms.
