Abstract: ABSTRACT AI Technology Based Cyber Security Threat Detection Autonomous and Connected Vehicles using IoT The proposed innovation introduces an Artificial Intelligence-Based Cyber Security Threat Detection System (AI-CSTD) for autonomous and connected vehicles operating within an Internet of Things (IoT) environment. The framework integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Internet of Things (IoT), Edge Computing, Blockchain Technology, Cloud Computing, Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Communication, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats in real time. Unlike conventional vehicle security systems that depend on signature-based detection and isolated monitoring, the proposed framework continuously analyzes vehicle communication, sensor data, network traffic, driver behavior, and IoT device interactions to identify malicious activities using intelligent anomaly detection algorithms. The system automatically isolates compromised components, generates security alerts, and recommends corrective actions to maintain vehicle safety and communication reliability. The proposed innovation enhances cybersecurity, protects autonomous driving systems, reduces cyberattacks, improves passenger safety, and strengthens secure vehicle communication. The framework is suitable for autonomous vehicles, connected vehicles, intelligent transportation systems, smart cities, automobile manufacturers, and fleet management organizations.
