Abstract: AI SYSTEM FOR SYLLABUS COMPLIANCE ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION: Our novel system presents anAl-driven approach for automatically evaluating syllabus compliance by analyzing the alignment between syllabus topics and instructional content. The framework leverages transformer-based language models to capture contextual relationships between academic concepts and perform semantic comparison beyond traditional keyword-based methods. The system processes syllabus documents and teaching materials through text cleaning, normalization, and segmentation to create structured input for analysis. Using models such as Sentence-BERT, the system generates semantic embeddings that represent the meaning of text in a high-dimensional space. These embeddings are compared using similarity techniques to determine topic coverage. Based on similarity scores, topics are classified as fully covered, partially covered, or missing, and an overall compliance score is generated. The system also produces structured analytical reports to help educators identify gaps, improve curriculum delivery, and support academic quality assurance across institutions effectively.
