Abstract: AI-POWERED SMART SAFETY DETECTION & ALERT GLOVE An AI-Powered Smart Safety Detection & Alert Glove system for real-time workplace hazard detection and worker safety is disclosed. The system comprises a wearable glove integrated with sensing units for detecting non-contact AC electrical sources, gas leakage, temperature variations, and abnormal movement or fall conditions. The system incorporates a BC547-based AC voltage detection circuit, MQ-2 gas sensor, infrared temperature sensor, MPU6050 motion sensor, and a microcontroller for real-time signal acquisition and processing. A TinyML-based machine learning model is employed for detecting abnormal movement and fall conditions from motion data. The detected hazards are communicated to the worker through a buzzer, vibration motor, RGB LED, 0.96-inch OLED display, and hazard-specific spoken guidance. A glove-to-glove - communication mechanism enables detected hazard alerts to be transmitted to nearby workers without requiring direct interaction with a mobile device. An NEO-6M GPS module provides geographical coordinates and safety status to a mobile application dashboard upon activation of an SOS. condition or hazardous contact condition. The system provides real-time, hands-free and eyes-free hazard awareness with integrated local alerting, worker-to-worker communication, and remote safety monitoring for applications in electrical maintenance, manufacturing, construction, chemical, industrial, warehouse, and other hazardous work environments.
