MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641115459 A) filed by Sri Eshwar College Of Engineering on September 26, 2026, for Ai-Powered Smart Ayurvedic Watch For Dosha Monitoring Using Physiological Sensors..
Inventors include Dr. S. Dhamodharan; Mr. G. Lekaadhithyan; Mr. R. Devadharun; and Mr. G. Naveenkumar.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: AyurSense is a smart wearable system designed to monitor physiological and environmental parameters and estimate an individual's Ayurvedic Dosha profile using an AI-based analytical framework. The proposed system integrates multiple sensors, including MAX30102 for heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, MLX90614 for temperature measurement, BME280 for ambient temperature, humidity and pressure, MPU6050 for motion and activity monitoring, and a GSR/EDA sensor for skin conductance analysis. The collected sensor data is acquired through an ESP32 microcontroller and undergoes preprocessing, noise reduction, normalization and feature extraction to obtain meaningful physiological and activity-related parameters. The extracted features are then provided to a machine learning model to estimate the relative Vata, Pitta and Kapha patterns. Based on the estimated Dosha profile and monitored parameters, the system generates personalized wellness recommendations related to diet, physical activity, relaxation and daily lifestyle. The results can be displayed through an OLED interface and synchronized with a mobile application for real-time monitoring and historical analysis. The application can maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports to visualize Dosha trends, physiological parameters and personalized recommendations. The proposed AyurSense system aims to combine wearable sensing, artificial intelligence and the Ayurvedic Tridosha framework into a low-cost and personalized wellness monitoring platform. The system is intended as an experimental proof-of-concept and does not replace professional medical or Ayurvedic diagnosis.
