Abstract: The present invention discloses an AI-Powered Optical Biosensing System for Needle-Free Cholesterol Monitoring and Personalized Dyslipidemia Assessment. The system provides a non-invasive approach for estimating and longitudinally monitoring cholesterol-related parameters without requiring routine blood sampling. A multi-wavelength optical biosensing module illuminates biological tissue and acquires transmitted, reflected, or scattered optical signals. The acquired signals are subjected to signal-quality assessment, noise reduction, motion artefact suppression, normalization, and feature extraction. An artificial intelligence-based estimation engine analyzes the extracted optical features in combination with physiological, anthropometric, clinical, and contextual parameters to estimate cholesterol-related indicators. A personalized calibration mechanism utilizes reference laboratory lipid measurements to adapt the estimation model to individual-specific physiological and optical characteristics. The system further performs longitudinal trend analysis and generates a personalized dyslipidemia assessment using estimated lipid parameters, historical measurements, individual risk factors, and confidence information. Measurements having insufficient signal quality or prediction confidence are identified for reacquisition or confirmatory clinical testing. The proposed system facilitates rapid, needle-free, personalized, and intelligent lipid monitoring and may be implemented as a handheld, wearable, mobile-connected, or clinical screening device for preventive healthcare, cardiovascular risk monitoring, telemedicine, and dyslipidemia management.
