The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-enabled multisensory monitoring and alert system configured to monitor the safety and well-being of infants, elderly persons, and children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The system integrates a plurality of sensing modules, including acoustic sensors for cry and sound detection, volatile organic compound (VOC) and gas sensors, motion and fall detection sensors, and optionally wearable physiological sensors, into a unified hardware and software platform. One or more artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning algorithms process sensor data from the plurality of sensing modules to identify patterns, classify detected events, detect deviations from an established baseline, and generate real-time alerts for abnormal or potentially hazardous conditions. The system may employ multi-sensor data fusion to improve event detection and reduce false alarms. For infants, the system may analyze crying patterns, abnormal breathing patterns, movement, and odor signatures associated with urine or fecal matter. For elderly persons, the system may detect falls, unusual inactivity, abnormal movement, environmental odor or gas conditions, and other detectable deviations in monitored parameters. For children with autism spectrum disorder, the system may monitor unusual vocalization, repetitive movements, activity patterns, and other detectable behavioral deviations from an established individual baseline. When a predefined abnormality, threshold condition, or combination of sensor events is detected, the system generates an alert. It transmits the alert in real time to an authorized caregiver device, including a smartphone, through a dedicated mobile application or communication interface. The alert may include event type, severity level, time of detection, and relevant sensor information. The system further provides configurable alert thresholds and sensitivity settings and may store historical sensor and event data for subsequent review by authorized users. The monitoring platform may operate using local, edge, cloud-based, or hybrid data processing architectures. By integrating acoustic, VOC, motion, fall, environmental, and optional physiological sensing with AI-based analysis and real-time caregiver notification, the invention provides a unified monitoring framework for multiple vulnerable user groups. The system is adaptable to home care, assisted care, and other monitoring environments and may further be integrated with wearable devices, smart home systems, and other connected healthcare technologies.
