MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521086225 A) filed by Pandit Deendayal Energy University on September 11, 2025, for Ai-Powered Multimodal Healthcare System For Elderly Care.

Abstract: The titled invention discloses an Al-based healthcare system that assists elderly users. It uses text, voice, and image recognition to offer tailored medical advice. The system has strong security for user login, remembers user preferences, and stores health data in a smart way that understands the context. A special type of Al called Vision Transformer looks at medical images to find health issues, and improved language models understand and respond to user questions. The system utilizes retrieval-augmented generation to find and use past health records and current input to create accurate, personal health advice, lifestyle tips, and medicine reminders. It combines speech-to-text, text from pictures, and image analysis to make it easy for users to interact. The system also supports multiple languages to make it accessible. It keeps getting better over time using feedback and learning from users, giving elderly people helpful, clear, and caring support.
