Inventors include Kalaiyarasan V; and Karunambikai R.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The AI Powered HR Interview Efficient Screening System is a great example of how NLP and Machine Learning based recruitment solutions can be combined and still be able to automate and improve candidate screening process. This system uses a Hybrid NLP, ML Recruitment Screening Algorithm together with a Candidate Relevance Scoring Algorithm (CRSA) to evaluate the resumes and candidates' answers in an effective and unbiased manner. Diverse NLP methods are leveraged to preprocess resume and interview transcript materials, which only include tokenization, stop word removal, lemmatization and feature extraction with TF, IDF and word embeddings. Then, various machine learning classifiers are used to assess candidate's skills, experience, and fit for the job. CRSA generates a relevance score by matching the candidate's characteristics and job specifications, which thus allows for a ranked shortlisting of candidates. In order to develop and test the model, the entire system was implemented in Results of the experiments reveal that the system proposed can improve screening accuracy, reduce manual work, and speed up decision, making as compared to traditional HR screening methods. In essence, the recommended AI, based system is a scalable, transparent, and effective tool for the new recruitment methods.. It also provides aid to HR professionals in making interview and selection decisions based on data.
