Abstract: ABSTRACT AI and IoT Enabled Smart Barricade System with Adaptive Road Stud for Real-Time Hazard Detection The present invention relates to an AI and IoT enabled smart barricade system with an adaptive road-stud for real-time road hazard detection. The system comprises a smart barricade unit (10) having an ultrasonic sensor (11), vibration sensor (12), LDR sensor (13), ESP32-CAM module (14), pan-tilt servo unit (15) and ESP32 processing unit (16). The ultrasonic sensor (11) detects approaching objects, while the vibration sensor (12) detects barricade impact. The ESP32-CAM (14) captures images for YOLO-based identification of vehicles, humans and animals. The processing unit (16) controls warning LEDs (18) and buzzer (19) according to detected safety conditions. An ESP-NOW transceiver (22) communicates the condition to an adaptive road-stud unit (40) having transceiver (41) and road-stud LEDs (42). A Wi-Fi module (21) enables Blynk/IoT-based remote alerts through a cloud platform (30) and mobile application (31), while the LDR sensor (13) enables automatic night-mode operation. Figure-1
