Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-integrated smart public distribution system for securely authenticating beneficiaries and automatically dispensing predetermined quantities of commodities. The system comprises a biometric authentication unit, RFID identification unit, commodity storage and dispensing mechanism, load-cell- based weighing unit, microcontroller, transaction memory, communication module and intelligent anomaly-detection platform. A beneficiary is authenticated using biometric and/or RFID identification before commodity dispensing is enabled. The dispensing mechanism automatically releases the selected commodity while the load cell continuously measures the dispensed quantity and the controller terminates dispensing upon reaching a predetermined quantity. Transaction information including beneficiary identification, commodity type, quantity, date and time is recorded. A machine-learning module employing Random Forest and Support Vector Machine algorithms analyzes transaction data to identify abnormal transaction patterns. A monitoring interface provides authorized administrators with transaction information and alerts.
