Abstract: AI-Integrated Positive Drive Mechanism for Consistent Roving Delivery in Ring Frames This invention describes an AI-Integrated Positive Drive Mechanism for ring frame creel systems, configured as a retrofittable unit to replace conventional negative drive arrangements. The mechanism employs a variable-speed motor to actively rotate roving bobbins, thereby maintaining consistent delivery tension independent of bobbin diameter or density variations. Real-time torque and diameter sensing assemblies provide continuous feedback, while an artificial intelligence–based predictive engine anticipates tension fluctuations and preemptively adjusts motor parameters. A multi-bobbin synchronization controller ensures uniform rotational behavior across the creel, preventing drafting irregularities and twist imbalance. An eco-mode operational logic optimizes power consumption by reducing motor load under low-torque conditions, thereby achieving significant energy efficiency. Universally adaptable to legacy and modern ring frames, and operable with natural, synthetic, and recycled fibers, the invention enhances yarn quality, reduces defects, and improves sustainability, establishing a transformative advancement in spinning technology.
