MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611070217 A) filed by Ims Engineering College, Ghaziabad on June 04, 2026, for Ai-Integrated Multi-Biomarker Liquid Biopsy Platform And Method For Early Detection Of Cancer Through Predictive Molecular Analysis.
Inventors include Dr. Indu Bhatt; Dr. Shomini Parashar; Ms. Seema Kumari; and Dr. Vinita Rani.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an AI-integrated multi-biomarker liquid biopsy platform and method for early detection of cancer through predictive molecular analysis of minimally invasive biological samples including blood, plasma, serum, saliva, urine, and interstitial fluid. The invention utilizes microfluidic biomarker isolation systems, nano-enabled biosensor arrays, and multi-omics molecular profiling techniques for identification and quantification of circulating tumor DNA, circulating tumor cells, exosomes, microRNA, proteins, metabolites, inflammatory markers, and epigenetic signatures associated with oncogenic transformation. Molecular data generated by the biosensor array are processed using artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms configured for feature extraction, predictive cancer classification, tissue-origin determination, disease-stage estimation, recurrence prediction, and personalized cancer risk assessment. The system further incorporates adaptive learning mechanisms, cloud-connected healthcare infrastructure, automated diagnostic reporting, longitudinal disease monitoring, and telemedicine integration for real-time oncology management and clinical decision support. The invention significantly improves diagnostic sensitivity, specificity, scalability, accessibility, and non-invasive early-stage cancer screening efficiency while reducing dependence on conventional tissue biopsy procedures and supporting precision healthcare applications.
