Abstract: AI Governance Model Using Blockchain for Transparent Decision Auditing is the proposed invention. The present invention relates to an AI governance model that uses blockchain to enable transparent decision auditing. The proposed system employs artificial intelligence, permissioned blockchain, smart contract technology, and explainable artificial intelligence to offer a secure, immutable, and accountable system for recording and auditing AI-driven decisions. The AI input data, model metadata, prediction outputs, confidence scores and explanation information are securely processed and cryptographic hashes and verification records are stored on the blockchain, with original data kept in encrypted off-chain storage. Intelligent contracts automatically validate governance policies, authorisation rules, regulatory requirements, and model authenticity before permanently recording each decision as a blockchain transaction. A distributed governance orchestration module constantly tracks model updates, policy changes and audit activities, while an integrity verification engine detects unauthorised changes by checking hash values. A real-time anomaly detection module identifies policy violations and anomalous decision behaviour. The invention improves transparency, traceability, regulatory compliance, data integrity and public confidence in AI-based decision making in government, healthcare, finance, legal and enterprise systems.
