Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of an AI-based remote sensing system for real-time environmental monitoring and analysis of disasters. The system has an input module for remote sensing data acquisition, preprocessing module, multi-source data integration module, AI-based analysis module, disaster detection and classification module, disaster severity assessment module, geospatial mapping module, predictive analysis module, alerts generation module and a module for continuous learning. The system collects satellite imagery, aerial imagery, sensor observations, meteorological data and geographic data and pre-processes the collected data for integrated analysis. Using artificial intelligence techniques, the features of change in the environment are extracted from the input and the disaster conditions such as floods, forest fires, landslides, drought and other disasters are classified. The system assesses the severity of disaster and the regions where the disaster occurs and generates the risk map of the hazard along with its future progression. FIG.1
