Abstract: Orthostatic hypotension is a common cardiovascular and neurological condition characterized by a significant decrease in blood pressure following postural changes, frequently resulting in dizziness, syncope, falls, and rehabilitation interruptions. Conventional monitoring relies primarily on intermittent blood pressure measurements, which may fail to identify early cerebral changes preceding symptom onset. The present invention provides a wearable frontal EEG monitoring system utilizing a minimal number of dry electrodes positioned over the frontal cortex, a compact wireless signal acquisition module, and a mobile or dedicated receiver that continuously analyzes EEG signals using an artificial intelligence algorithm. The system predicts impending orthostatic hypotension before clinical symptoms occur and immediately alerts patients or healthcare professionals, thereby improving safety during rehabilitation and daily activities.
