Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-enabled self-adaptive CAD integrated 3D printing system that combines computer-aided design, artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing, real-time sensing, and adaptive process control for improving the quality and efficiency of 3D printed components. The proposed system provides an intelligent connection between CAD design generation and physical manufacturing by automatically analysing digital models, identifying design limitations, optimizing geometrical parameters, generating improved printing paths, and controlling the manufacturing process in real time. The system includes an AI-based CAD analysis module, design optimization engine, intelligent slicing module, sensor-integrated 3D printing unit, real-time quality monitoring system, and adaptive printing controller. The AI module evaluates CAD models for structural strength, manufacturability, material usage, dimensional accuracy, and printing feasibility before manufacturing. During the printing process, integrated sensors monitor layer deposition, temperature variation, material flow, and surface quality. The collected information is analysed continuously, and printing parameters such as nozzle temperature, printing speed, deposition rate, and movement trajectory are automatically modified to improve final component quality. The proposed invention enables a closed-loop CAD-to-manufacturing environment where design optimization, printing control, defect detection, and process correction occur automatically. The system reduces design errors, minimizes material wastage, improves dimensional accuracy, enhances surface quality, and enables intelligent additive manufacturing for industrial applications.
