Abstract: Disclosed is a system (100) for AI-enabled robotic process automation invoice processing. The system (100) includes an invoice ingestion module (102), a pre- processing module (104), a layout detection engine (106), a lightweight object detection model (108), detected invoice layout regions (110), an OCR module (112), an extraction module (114), a validation module (116), an exception routing module (118), an RPA orchestration layer (120), an ERP connector (122), and an audit logging module (124). The invoice document is received and converted into a standardized invoice representation. The lightweight object detection model (108) detects paragraph and table regions and generates bounding region information, classification information, and confidence information. The OCR module (112) performs region-aware recognition, and the extraction module (114) extracts structured invoice data. The validation module (116) verifies the data, and the exception routing module (118) routes the invoice for ERP posting or human review. Fig. 1 is the reference figure.
