Abstract: AI-Enabled Rotating Multi-Compartment Smart Waste Segregation and Monitoring System ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an AI-enabled rotating multi- compartment smart waste segregation and monitoring system comprising a waste input section (101), an image acquisition unit (102), an AI-based image processing and classification unit (103), a controller (104), a motor driver (106), a DC geared motor (105), a rotating multi-compartment bin assembly (107), and a servo motor- based sorting mechanism (108). The image acquisition unit (102) captures an image of received waste and the AI-based classification unit (103) determines a corresponding waste category. The controller (104) operates the motor driver (106) and DC geared motor (105) to rotationally align a corresponding compartment of the bin assembly (107), while the servo mechanism (108) directs the waste into the selected compartment. Ultrasonic fill-level sensors (109) and a load cell (110) monitor waste accumulation. A communication module (111) transmits monitoring information to a remote database/server (112) and mobile application (113), wherein an alert mechanism generates a collection notification upon a predetermined fill condition.
