Abstract: 087] The present invention relates to an AI-enabled portable multispectral vein imaging and vascular access guidance system comprising a portable housing, illumination assembly, optical sensing assembly, adaptive image-processing module, artificial intelligence analysis engine, vascular feature extraction module, access-region scoring module and guidance generation module. The system acquires optical image data from a target body region using one or more vascular-sensitive spectral bands and adaptively enhances the acquired image based on image-quality parameters. The artificial intelligence analysis engine generates a vascular probability representation and identifies vascular structures from the processed image data. Vascular characteristics including apparent width, continuity, branching, curvature, contrast and temporal stability may be extracted and used to determine and rank candidate vascular access regions. Each candidate region may be assigned a suitability score and confidence value, and a selected region may be presented through a visual, projected, audio and/or haptic guidance interface. A feedback controller may dynamically adjust illumination, spectral selection, exposure, sensor gain and image-processing parameters based on vascular confidence and image quality. The system provides a portable, adaptive and confidence-aware platform for assisting visualization and localization of superficial vascular structures during vascular access procedures.
