Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled Internet of Things (IoT) based system and method for fire accident prevention and multi-fault detection in electric vehicles. The system comprises a multi-sensor monitoring unit configured to continuously monitor battery temperature, voltage, current, smoke concentration, gas concentration, humidity, and related operational parameters. An embedded control unit acquires and processes sensor data, while an AI processing module performs multi-parameter correlation analysis to identify abnormal conditions associated with battery overheating, thermal runaway, electrical short circuits, gas leakage, and fire hazards. Upon detection of a fault condition, a protection and actuation unit automatically initiates corrective actions including battery isolation and emergency shutdown. Simultaneously, an IoT communication module transmits real-time alerts and diagnostic information to remote users and monitoring platforms. The invention provides predictive fault detection, enhanced battery safety, reduced fire risk, and improved operational reliability in electric vehicles.
