The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: AI-ENABLED IOT SMART PUBLIC TOILET WITH CLOSED-LOOP SANITATION CONTROL. A prefabricated sanitation cabin has sanitary compartments and a service/IoT compartment containing an IoT controller, sensor interfaces, actuator interfaces and communication equipment. The controller detects occupancy and post- use vacancy and, after vacancy, inhibits conflicting access and executes a controlled sanitation sequence using water valves, flushing, cleaning/spray, UV and/or ventilation actuators. Sensor and actuator feedback is used to determine completion or faults and return the compartment to an available state. The controller transmits equipment and operating data to a remote interface. A machine-readable cabin identifier provides a complaint workflow linking a reported condition to the physical cabin, maintenance assignment, resolution evidence and time-based escalation. The cabin may further include resource monitoring, water management, a bio-digester, solar power, emergency inputs and predictive maintenance/control functions coupled to physical equipment.
