Abstract: This invention describes an artificial intelligence-based, Internet-of-Things-enabled, Global Positioning System-integrated system for real-time multi-altitude monitoring, analysis, correction, and forecasting of atmospheric pollutants. The system is configured to detect pollutants including carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, ammonia, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, volatile organic compounds, and optional ozone and particulate-related proxy parameters across distributed stationary and mobile monitoring locations. The system further identifies vertical pollutant stratification, inversion-trapped layers, concealed elevated plume bands, and transient dispersion events through altitude-resolved environmental analysis. Dynamic mobile sensor reallocation enables adaptive interception of predicted plume cores and exposure corridors. Confidence-weighted correction and data assimilation improve reliability by compensating for drift, cross-sensitivity, and anomalous observations. Source fingerprint fusion supports inference of probable source class and source region. The system generates georeferenced three-dimensional concentration fields, source-attribution outputs, exposure alerts, and short-term to medium-term atmospheric dispersion forecasts for regulatory, industrial, agricultural, public-health, and emergency-response applications.
