MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641105412 A) filed by Sr University on September 01, 2026, for Ai-Enabled Cyber Security And Consumer Trust Adaptive System For Secure Digital Banking Technology.
Inventors include Vetcha Gayatri; and Dr. Gurunadham Goli.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-enabled cybersecurity and consumer-trust adaptive system for secure digital banking, configured to dynamically manage transaction security and customer-facing authentication based on real-time cybersecurity risk and consumer trust conditions. The system receives authorized transaction, behavioral, device, authentication, network, and threat-intelligence data through digital banking channels. An artificial-intelligence risk engine processes the received data to generate a dynamic transaction-level and session-level cybersecurity risk state, while a consumer trust-state engine determines a dynamic trust state based on customer interactions with authentication mechanisms, security alerts, verification requests, declined or abandoned transactions, and selected security mechanisms. An adaptive security engine combines the cybersecurity risk state and consumer trust state to determine an appropriate security response, including transaction approval, additional authentication, step-up verification, temporary transaction holding, fraud review, or customer notification. An explainable security communication module provides understandable security explanations without exposing confidential fraud-detection rules. A feedback-learning engine further processes customer responses, transaction outcomes, and security events to update subsequent security decisions. The invention thereby provides adaptive cybersecurity protection while reducing unnecessary authentication interventions and improving consumer trust in digital banking services.
