MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641111061 A) filed by Pragati Engineering College on September 16, 2026, for Ai-Enabled Blockchain And Cloud Platform For Real-Time Environmental Pollution Monitoring And Predictive Risk Assessment.
Inventors include Dr. Y Jayababu; Mr. G. Srinivasa Siva Kumar; Mr. A. Phani Bhaskar; and Mrs. Tejasvi Teeparthi.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: AI-Enabled Blockchain and Cloud Platform for Real-Time Environmental Pollution Monitoring and Predictive Risk Assessment FIG. 1 illustrates the overall architecture of an AI-Enabled Blockchain and Cloud Platform for Real-Time Environmental Pollution Monitoring and Predictive Risk Assessment. The system comprises an Environmental Sensor Unit (101), Data Acquisition and Communication Unit (102), AI-Based Pollution Analysis Unit (103), Cloud Computing Platform (104), Blockchain Security Unit (105), Predictive Risk Assessment Unit (106), and Alert and Monitoring Unit (107). The Environmental Sensor Unit (101) collects real-time environmental parameters such as particulate matter, pollutant gases, temperature, humidity, and air-quality measurements. The Data Acquisition and Communication Unit (102) collects and transmits the sensor data to the cloud platform. The AI-Based Pollution Analysis Unit (103) analyzes real-time and historical environmental data to detect pollution patterns, anomalies, and changing pollution conditions. The Cloud Computing Platform (104) stores and processes the collected data and provides real-time monitoring and visualization. The Blockchain Security Unit (105) securely records sensor measurements, timestamps, locations, pollution events, and analysis results as tamper-resistant records. The Predictive Risk Assessment Unit (106) uses AI-generated results and environmental data to predict future pollution levels and determine environmental risk levels. The Alert and Monitoring Unit (107) generates automated notifications when measured or predicted pollution reaches a defined risk level. Thus, FIG. 1 represents an integrated platform providing real-time environmental monitoring, AI-based pollution prediction, secure blockchain data management, cloud analytics, and predictive environmental risk assessment.
