The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: A system (100) and method assess the health of a rechargeable battery (102) and estimate its RUL. Voltage, current, temperature and mechanical deformation are measured together with operating context data (112). A stress-deformation indicator is derived from the deformation measurements (114). A machine learning model (116) uses the indicator, health features and context data to estimate the RUL, with uncertainty, for the present and a modified usage pattern. A digital twin (118) gives a second estimate, and a confidence score (120) is computed from how closely the twin follows the measurements. The two estimates are combined with weights that depend on this score (122), and charging limits, alerts or maintenance advice are generated (124). Observed results are fed back to update both models (126).
