Inventors include Rajani Kumari Inapagolla; Manjula S; Dr. Sandhya Madhuri G; Puneeth R; Dr. Krushitha Shetty; Geluvaraj B; and Lakshmi S Hanne.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an AI-Enabled Autonomous Solar-Powered Agricultural Threat Detection and Adaptive Deterrence System comprising a Solar Energy Harvesting and Power Management Module, an Environmental Sensing and Imaging Module, a Data Preprocessing and Sensor Fusion Module, an AI-Based Threat Detection and Classification Module, a Confidence-Aware Threat Evaluation and Localization Module, an Adaptive Deterrence Control Module, a Response Verification and Adaptation Module, and an Autonomous Energy and Communication Management Module. The system acquires environmental information, detects and classifies potential agricultural threats, determines classification confidence and spatial or directional threat conditions, and selects a threat-specific deterrence pattern. Following activation of the deterrence response, subsequent sensing information is evaluated to determine whether the threat has departed, remained, changed direction, or continued to exhibit threat characteristics, whereby the deterrence pattern is modified when required. The system further manages solar-generated energy, operating states, event logging, and optional communication according to detected activity and available energy. The invention provides autonomous, confidence- aware, adaptive, and energy-efficient agricultural threat detection and deterrence suitable for crop protection in remote and field-based agricultural environments.
