Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-enabled autonomous patient care robot for continuous monitoring and assistance in healthcare environments. The system integrates artificial intelligence, computer vision, autonomous navigation, vital-sign sensing, and wireless communication in a mobile platform. It continuously monitors patient parameters such as heart rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate. AI algorithms analyze real-time health data to detect abnormalities and potential medical emergencies. The robot autonomously navigates hospital wards, rooms, and corridors while avoiding obstacles and ensuring safe movement. It provides patient assistance including medication reminders, delivery of items, communication support, and guidance. An integrated vision system enables patient identification, fall detection, activity monitoring, and emergency recognition. Upon detecting critical conditions, the robot generates alerts and notifies authorized medical personnel immediately. It transmits patient status, location, and sensor data to a central healthcare monitoring system. Voice-based interaction allows patients to request assistance and communicate without physical contact. The system also supports telemedicine through remote audio and video interaction with healthcare professionals. Overall, the invention enhances patient safety, reduces manual monitoring, and improves emergency response in healthcare facilities.
