The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: Abstract Anxiety disorders are among the most frequent mental health diseases, causing poor everyday functioning and a worse quality of life. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is largely acknowledged as a successful treatment; yet constraints such as accessibility, patient participation, and difficulties in conducting controlled exposure therapy remain. This project investigates the creation of an Al-driven VR environment to improve CBT sessions for people with anxiety disorders. The system allows for personalised, adaptive treatment sessions based on real-time user reactions, behavioural patterns, and emotional feedback by combining artificial intelligence (Al) with immersive VR. The virtual settings imitate anxiety-inducing circumstances in a secure and controlled setting, allowing for progressive exposure and better coping mechanisms. Al algorithms automatically alter the difficulty level and provide individualised instruction, improving treatment efficacy and user interest. The research emphasises the ability of Al-powered VR systems to overcome conventional hurdles in mental health treatment, providing scalable, accessible, and data-driven solutions that enhance patient outcomes and alter CBT delivery for anxiety disorders.reati
