Abstract: Abstract AI-Based Virtual Co-Driver System for Driver Monitoring and Safety Enhancement The present invention relates to a driver safety assistance system (100) configured for real-time monitoring and proactive intervention. The system (100) comprises a camera module (110) and a facial analysis unit (110) for detecting driver fatigue using parameters including Eye Aspect Ratio, Mouth Aspect Ratio, and Percentage of Eye Closure. An alcohol sensor module (120) and an alcohol detection unit (130) are provided to determine driver intoxication. An artificial intelligence processing unit (140) integrates inputs to classify driver state and initiate appropriate actions. A voice interaction module (150) enables conversational alerts and response evaluation. A smartphone control module (160) restricts mobile usage during unsafe conditions. An alert and escalation system (170) generates warnings and emergency notifications upon driver non-responsiveness.
