MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641124069 A) filed by Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation on October 16, 2026, for Ai Driven Ultrasonic Frequency Animal Repeller System.

Inventors include Mohammad Naseeruddin; Sai Sumit Panigrahi; Dr. Nilu Singh; Dr. S. Sagar Imambi; Karthik Tottanapudi; Geeth Sathvik; and Bharath Burji.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI driven ultrasonic frequency animal repeller system for protecting agricultural fields. A camera captures images of the field, and images degraded by fog, rain, haze, noise or low light are enhanced by a conditional generative adversarial network. A YOLOv8 detector, trained on fourteen animal classes with emphasis on cows and monkeys, detects and classifies the intruding species, which is mapped to a species-specific ultrasonic frequency band. An ATmega328P microcontroller generates a PWM signal sweeping across the band, which drives a piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer through an IRLZ44N MOSFET driver. The sweep, inaudible to humans, is repeated until the animal leaves, providing a non-lethal, habituation-resistant and environmentally friendly deterrent.
