The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: Industrial accidents remain a major concern in manufacturing plants, warehouses, construction sites, and other hazardous workplaces due to non-compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE), unauthorized access to restricted areas, unsafe worker behavior, improper postures, and delayed emergency response. Existing safety monitoring approaches largely depend on manual supervision or post-incident surveillance analysis, limiting their ability to prevent accidents proactively. The present invention discloses an AI-Based Industrial Safety Monitoring and Predictive Hazard Assessment System that utilizes computer vision, deep learning, and machine learning techniques for continuous real-time workplace safety monitoring using existing CCTV infrastructure. The system automatically detects workers, machinery, PPE compliance, unsafe postures, falls, and hazardous zone intrusions, and generates instant alerts to supervisors while maintaining a comprehensive record of safety violations for analysis. In addition, the invention analyzes historical and real-time safety data to identify accident-prone areas, estimate dynamic risk scores, and predict potential hazards before they occur, enabling proactive decision-making and timely intervention. The proposed system integrates seamlessly with existing surveillance infrastructure, eliminating the need for wearable devices or significant hardware modifications, thereby reducing implementation costs. The invention enhances workplace safety, improves regulatory compliance, minimizes industrial accidents, and supports the development of intelligent, Industry 4.0-enabled industrial environments across manufacturing industries, warehouses, construction sites, and small and medium enterprises.
