MUMBAI, India, July 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411096807 A) filed by Lovely Professional University on December 07, 2024, for Ai-Driven System And Method For Early Cardiovascular Disease Detection And Risk Stratification.
Inventors include Piyush Kumar Yadav; and Sudhakar Singh.
The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-driven system designed for the early detection and risk stratification of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) through the integration and analysis of multi-omics data. The system comprises a multi-omics data integration module that collects and integrates genomic data, such as single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), gene expressions, and mutations, alongside proteomic data, including protein abundances and protein-protein interactions. An AI model framework, utilizing advanced machine learning and deep learning algorithms, processes this integrated data to identify complex patterns indicative of CVD risk. Embedded within the AI model is a biomarker identification and analysis unit that identifies significant biomarkers associated with CVD, such as Growth Differentiation Factor-15 (GDF-15), Lipoprotein-Associated Phospholipase A2, Soluble ST2, and specific micro-RNAs. The system also includes a prediction and risk stratification engine that generates predictions about CVD risk, providing insights into the likelihood of conditions like cardiac arrhythmia, heart strokes, and heart attacks.
