The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: 7.ABSTRACT: The present invention discloses an AI-driven self-evolving reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) architecture for sixth-generation (6G) wireless communication networks. The system integrates distributed reinforcement learning agents within modular RIS tiles to enable autonomous, predictive, and energyefficient manipulation of electromagnetic wave propagation. Each tile comprises programmable reflective elements, embedded AI controllers, environmental sensing modules, and coordination interfaces for federated learning. Unlike conventional RIS systems that rely on centralized optimization, the proposed architecture supports localized decision-making, reducing latency and signaling overhead. The invention further incorporates predictive mobility modeling to proactively steer beams before channel degradation occurs, particularly m millimeter-wave and terahertz frequency bands. Energy efficiency is enhanced through adaptive element activation and low-power AI inference engines. The distributed framework improves scalability, robustness, and resilience in ultradense 6G deployments. The proposed system is suitable for high-data-rate applications including holographic communication, tactile internet, and immersive extended reality environments.
