MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641126839 A) filed by Dr. Mgr Educational And Research Institute on October 24, 2026, for Ai-Driven Real-Time Spatiotemporal Seismic Risk Monitoring System.
Inventors include Bharath Raja Govindasamy; Chohith C S; Chrispin Joseph P A; David Solomon R; Dr. V. Sarala Devi; Ms. M. Gangadevi; and Dr. Viji Vinod.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: A seismic risk monitoring system (100) includes a dual-source data ingestion layer (102) configured to collect earthquake data from a global data source (104) and an India data source (106), a data processing pipeline (108) configured to receive the earthquake data and to apply spatial-temporal deduplication to generate deduplicated seismic event records, machine learning models (110) configured to receive the deduplicated seismic event records and to generate risk predictions, a backend service (112) configured to coordinate data flow between the data processing pipeline (108) and the machine learning models (110), and a frontend dashboard (114) configured to visualize the risk predictions. The data processing pipeline (108) computes a composite seismic risk index based on normalized magnitude, normalized frequency, and depth impact factor. The frontend dashboard (114) includes an interactive earthquake globe, activity panels, and an AI assistant for user interaction. (FIG. 1)
