MUMBAI, India, Oct. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641121088 A) filed by Rajalakshmi Engineering College on October 09, 2026, for Ai Driven Predictive Water Contamination Early Warning Apparatus With Crowdsourced Sensors And Trust.

Inventor includes Dr. M. Thangamani.

The application for the patent was published on October 23, 2026, under issue no. 43/2026.

Abstract: A method for warning people about dirty water before they drink it, by: (a) collecting water test results from handheld devices at many water sources; (b) scoring how trustworthy each result is using calibration age, agreement with nearby devices, and user track record; (c) calculating weighted average values for each water source; (d) combining sensor data with weather, water flow, and farming data; (e) using trained AI models to predict contamination chances over 1 to 7 days; (f) sorting risk into five levels that only 605 change after staying steady for two rounds; (g) sending phone alerts with treatment instructions to people near risky water sources; and (h) showing all data on a dashboard for health authorities; where this process runs all the time and warns people before unsafe water reaches them.
