MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641115451 A) filed by Sri Eshwar College Of Engineering on September 26, 2026, for Ai-Driven Multimodal Healthcare System For Early Disease Risk Prediction And Personalized Clinical Decision Support.

Inventors include Dr. C. Vivek; D Monika Sree; S Sabarikarthika; and D K Dhevavarshana.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: Modern healthcare systems face critical operational bottlenecks due to fragmented, high-dimensional patient data across electronic health records, diagnostic laboratories, and physiological monitoring devices, leading to delayed interventions and clinician cognitive fatigue. The AI-Driven Multimodal Healthcare Framework is an end-to-end, explainable clinical intelligence platform developed to assist healthcare practitioners in early disease risk detection, patient triage, and preventive care planning. The proposed system ingests and harmonizes heterogeneous data streams—including demographic metrics, baseline physiological vitals, longitudinal biochemical laboratory panels, and behavioral lifestyle markers—through an automated data ingestion and preprocessing pipeline. A supervised machine learning engine evaluates complex non-linear clinical indicators to calculate calibrated disease risk probabilities, stratifying patients into Low, Moderate, and High-risk tiers. To resolve the "black-box" nature of clinical AI, the platform incorporates an Explainable AI (XAI) subsystem powered by SHAP (Shapley Additive explanations) and LIME (Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanations), visually decomposing predictions into patient-specific feature attribution scores. Building on these interpretable vectors, an intelligent Clinical Decision Support (CDS) engine delivers personalized, evidence-aligned lifestyle, preventive, and clinical follow-up recommendations. Delivered through a responsive, role-based dashboard, the framework enhances diagnostic efficiency, fosters clinical trust, and empowers proactive, preventive healthcare delivery.
