MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641093511 A) filed by Dr. Ohmini Krishnamurthy Rajendran on August 01, 2026, for Ai-Driven Microgravity-Adaptive Precision Medicine Platform Integrating Digital Twins, Multi- Omics, And Wearable Biosensing For Autonomous Health Management During Deep Space Exploration.

Inventor includes Dr. Ohmini Krishnamurthy Rajendran.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of an AI-enabled microgravity-adapted precision medicine framework using digital twin technology, multi-omics analysis, and wearable biosensors for autonomous health management in deep space exploration missions. Data acquisition of physiological, biochemical, and environmental parameters by wearable biosensors and integration of multi-omics data such as genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and transcriptomics will be used for building personalized digital twins of astronauts. AI algorithms will be utilized for real-time health monitoring, prediction, risk assessment, anomalies detection, and adaptive treatment recommendations considering the effects of microgravity on physiological changes. Autonomous optimization of nutrition, medications, physical activity regimen, and environmental conditions along with early warning signs of any health deterioration will be performed by the platform. Cloud and edge computing and secure data management will be implemented to enable reliable decision-making in case of communication delays in deep space. FIG.1
