Abstract: The present invention relates to an autonomous library management system integrating robotics, artificial intelligence, and embedded control architecture for automated handling and manage-ment of library materials. The system comprises a centralized processing unit configured to exe-cute control algorithms and coordinate multiple subsystems, including a perception module incor-porating sensors and cameras for real-time acquisition of environmental data and vision-based ob-ject detection and classification. A mobile robotic platform, driven by motor control circuitry and configured with omnidirectional mobility, enables precise navigation and positioning within struc-tured and confined library environments. The system further includes a multi-degree-of-freedom robotic manipulator equipped with servo actuators and a gripper mechanism for accurate grasping, lifting, and placement of books with varying dimensions and orientations. A user interaction module, incorporating voice input and natural language processing capabilities, facilitates query handling and task initiation. The centralized processing unit generates synchronized control sig-nals for navigation, perception, manipulation, and interaction, ensuring coordinated system opera-tion. The invention enables efficient identification, retrieval, sorting, and placement of books in real time, thereby reducing manual intervention, minimizing operational errors, optimizing time efficiency, and enhancing accessibility, scalability, and overall performance in library management systems.
