Abstract: An artificial intelligence–driven framework is disclosed for performing sensitivity assessment of blast design and performance parameters. The framework integrates multi-source datasets, including drilling geometry, charge distribution, stemming characteristics, initiation timing, geological profiles, and environmental conditions, with real-time sensor measurements such as vibration, air overpressure, dust propagation, and high-speed imaging. The method normalizes the heterogeneous data, after which a sensitivity analysis module applies statistical techniques and machine-learning interpretability tools to quantify the influence of each design parameter on blast outcomes, including PPV, AOP, fragmentation distribution, flyrock trajectory, and dust behavior. An AI prediction engine models nonlinear parameter interactions and generates scenario-based performance forecasts. A reporting and visualization module produces ranked sensitivity profiles, risk indicators, and optimization recommendations. The system enables data-driven refinement of blast layouts, timing, and charge distribution, supporting safer, more efficient, and more predictable blasting operations.
