MUMBAI, India, June 19 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441094588 A) filed by K. Ramakrishnan College Of Engineering on December 02, 2024, for Ai-Driven Electrical Layout For Building.
Inventors include Anandhanarayanan R; Aggawin R S; Antony Richard A G J; Arunkumar S; and Elamathi E.
The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT AI-DRIVEN ELECTRICAL LAYOUT FOR BUILDING The present invention discloses an approach to design the electrical layout for the both residential and commercial buildings using the machine learning algorithms and optimization techniques. This present invention overcomes the challenges that are faced in the previous versions such as accuracy, efficiency, time consumption and large no. of manpower and manual efforts. The system's outcome will be more precise and accurate. The image processing will be done in high resolution and more accurate by the use of Faster R-CNN.This will handle the detecting and identify the location for the electrical parts such as switches, circuits and outlets. The segmentation part will be done by using U-Net Segmentation algorithm. The system which will segments the different parts of the house blueprint such as rooms, walls, and the place where will be the electrical parts will be placed which will also promotes the precise outcome. The regression part uses random forest regression algorithm for more accurate and efficient results for the prediction purposes and variety of options.
