Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for managing voicemail for incoming telephone calls via an AI-driven voicemail assistant. The system comprises a telephony interface unit, a call routing module, an AI speech processing engine, a context database, a notification module, an emergency recognition module, and a spam detection module. The method includes receiving an incoming call, detecting call diversion conditions, routing to the AI assistant, establishing a bidirectional audio session, processing caller audio to generate context-aware responses, and transmitting the response to the caller. The AI speech processing engine operates in a cascaded mode utilizing speech recognition, natural language processing, and speech synthesis, or an end-to-end mode utilizing a neural network for direct acoustic feature conversion. The system integrates with existing telephony infrastructure including PSTN, SIP, VoIP, and PBX networks, providing person. (Figure 2)
