Abstract: AI-DRIVEN BLOCKCHAIN DIGITAL PASSPORT SYSTEM FOR TRACEABLE LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT OF RECYCLED MATERIALS FIG. 1 illustrates the overall architecture of the AI-Driven Blockchain Digital Passport System for Traceable Lifecycle Management of Recycled Materials. The system begins with waste material collection, followed by material identification using QR codes, RFID, barcodes, or unique digital identifiers. The collected material information is transferred to a data acquisition module, which gathers details such as material source, composition, quantity, quality, and processing history. The collected data is simultaneously processed by an AI analytics module for material classification, contamination detection, quality prediction, recyclability assessment, reuse recommendation, and sustainability scoring. A blockchain module securely records verified lifecycle events and maintains the chain of custody using blockchain records and smart contracts. The AI and blockchain modules are connected to a Digital Material Passport, which stores the complete lifecycle information of the recycled material. The material then proceeds through recycling and processing, manufacturing or reuse, and end-of-life recovery or further recycling. At each stage, the digital passport is updated with the corresponding lifecycle information, thereby providing continuous and traceable monitoring of the recycled material throughout its lifecycle.
